Rev. Hayes is the minister of Irvinestown Independent Methodist Church (Northern Ireland). For many years he was an itinerant evangelist with the Irish Evangelistic Band, preaching both to Roman Catholics and Protestants. John is particularly remembered for his tent campaigns in County Donegal during the month of August each year. He is married to Dorothy.
