Three Calls of the 12 Apostles (Introduction)

Leadership within the local church is not something to be taken lightly! Selection of spirit filled leaders within the church should not compare to that of politicians, although it would be preferred that we should desire to elect politicians based upon their Christian faith, Biblical knowledge, and the fruit they exhibit in their daily lives. Church leadership should not be a popularity contest of one who contributes the greatest financial support; or even someone who just has a great smile. Church leaders should be vetted through much prayer in seeking God's will to bring forth those who will serve selflessly and display Jesus in every aspect of their lives. If Jesus prayed and sought the Father's will for the appointment of the 12 Apostles, why would we even consider any other process for church leadership?
