John Owen was a scholar and theologian of the first rank, a mighty man of God. He was responsible in part for getting Bunyan's "The Pilgrim's Progress" published. He also served as chaplain to The Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell. This sermon of his is easily understood. Even though he wrote it about 375 years ago, it is still relevant today. The reader did an excellent job. I found it encouraging.

May all who name the name of the LORD seek to bring joy and pleasure to him who is the Greater. For he has done great things for us.

Truly Blessed and comforted. A full sermon revealing a prophecy, the prophecy fulfilled, a falling away with warning, and the entreaty to receive the gospel. Truly balm for those wanting to hear GOD's Word.

A real warning to parents not to make an idol out of their children- warn them and discipline them because of your love for them. A good sermon.

Great sermon! Very simple and yet there is so much information in it. So encouraging to know that angels keep us secure in salvation, that they are our undertakers and will be there to accompany us when we leave this life behind. All thanks be to God for providing for us ministering spirits to serve all those who will inherit salvation!
