Dr. Lawrence W. Bilkes is pastor of the Free Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. He was ordained to the ministry of the Word in 1971 and has also ministered in Canada and The Netherlands. He received his doctorate in 1997 from the Theological University of the Christelijke Gereformeerde Kerken in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. He is editor of the Free Reformed Theological Journal, and a frequent contributor to The Messenger, the denominational periodical of the Free Reformed Churches of North America. He and his wife, Jane, have been blessed with three children and several grandchildren.
