Born in Charleston but raised in sunny Greenwood, SC, Dave received his undergrad degree from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC (home of the mighty Blue Hose). After graduating from PC in 2003, Dave married his Camp Greystone sweetheart Rebecca (an RUF alum of Ole Miss) in October. In May of 2010, He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte and was called by the James River Presbytery to be the full-time RUF campus minister at CNU. Dave and Rebecca have a strapping son named Stokes and a little girl named Ellie-Grace.
