Mark is the oldest of six children who were raised in England where his parents served as church-planters for a number of years. During his second year of Bible college, he realized his need of a Savior and came to faith in Christ alone.

After returning to England, Mark met and married Violet, who was stationed in the USAF. They have been married for almost 34 years and have five children. Their three sons also served in the USAF, and their two teenage girls were both adopted.

Mark has served as a missionary church-planter in England and Liberia, West Africa. He also pastored in northern Nevada and now serves as pastor-teacher at Yellowstone Baptist Church in Cheyenne, Wyoming where they have lived for ten years.
