Jerry was born and raised in California, and was exposed to Christian training through his parents’ example and his own involvement in church. He didn’t make a personal commitment to the Lord however, until after he was married and serving in the United State Air Force. After his discharge from the service, he graduated from The Masters Seminary and served as an associate pastor and personal assistant to Dr. John MacArthur at Grace Community Church in California. In 2001, he accepted the call as pastor-teacher at Grace Immanuel Bible Church in Jupiter, Florida, where he continues to minister. He has recently completed his course work toward earning a Doctor of Ministry degree from The Master's Seminary. Over the years he has taught on church leadership, biblical counseling, theology, hermeneutics, preaching, Bible survey courses, marriage and family. In addition, Jerry serves as Board Chairman for The Expositors Seminary, Jupiter, Florida. He and his wife, Louise, have four grown and married children: Jessica, Briana, Jordan and Aaron. They also are the proud grandparents of five grandsons and two granddaughters.
