After serving four years in the US Army as a paratrooper (Sargent), Chris studied theology at Hyles-Anderson. He then pastored a Baptist church in Virginia for over twenty years until his retirement. He holds two honorary Doctorate of Divinity degrees. He is currently active in counseling and teaching at a Baptist church in the Atlanta area.
