A native of Canada, Bob Carr received a degree in history from the University of New Brunswick. He trained for the gospel ministry at the Trinity Ministerial Academy in New Jersey, and for the next twenty-five years served as pastor of the Grace Baptist Church of Chambersburg PA. Following a one-year rest necessitated by ill health, Bob is now a member of the ministry staff of the Grace Church of Downingtown PA. He and his wife Joy have three grown children.
