Brendan Fischer

Pastor Brendan Fischer is the country boy of the pastoral team. He was born in 1991 in the town of Grafton, New South Wales. It was here he was raised and attended school.

At six years of age, Brendan knew that he was a sinner. He was challenged about his need for a Saviour and understood that Jesus had died in his place to provide the forgiveness he needed. He trusted Jesus Christ as His personal Saviour on the 14th of September 1997.

Brendan left school and completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter within the family business. Sensing the Lord's call to pastoral ministry, Brendan enrolled in the Clarence Valley Baptist Bible College.

Following his graduation in 2014, Brendan moved to Lismore for a 12-month Pastoral Traineeship under Pastor Peter Mitchell. He was then appointed as the Assistant Pastor of Lismore Bible Church. During this time Brendan married Emma Perry. Together they served the Lord in Lismore for four years while Brendan was still building part-time. It was during this time that Brendan was ordained as a gospel minister.

Brendan was called to the role of Assistant Pastor at Condell Park Bible Church in 2019. He desires that the saints would be edified, transformed into the image of Jesus Christ and equipped to evangelise this world.

Outside of ministry, Brendan loves sport. He is passionate about football, rugby league and cricket, and also loves to spend time with his family in the outdoors.

Brendan's wife, Emma, was raised in Coffs Harbour and also attended Clarence Valley Baptist Bible College. Emma has a real burden for youth and for comforting and counselling those who are struggling and hurting. Brendan and Emma have four children, Elizabeth, Harry, Gabriella and Archie.
