Elder Wylie Flanagan departed this life on February 22, 2001 at the age of 85. He pastored several churches including Little Zion Primitive Bapitst Church (Palmersville, TN), Prospect Primitive Baptist Church (Gravel Hill, TN), Providence Primitive Baptist Church (Michie, TN), Corinth Primitive Baptist Church (Corinth, MS), and New Prospect Primitive Baptist Church (New Albany, MS). He was a real student of the Bible with an immense knowledge of the Scriptures. Many remember him as a great teacher of God’s Word.
