Josh graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1998 with a degree in Pastoral Theology and spent nearly 15 years serving at the Shenandoah Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee.
For 6 years, he served as the Executive Pastor at the Somerville Baptist Church in Somerville, Alabama.
Josh has been married to his wife, Kim since 1998. They have 3 children: Jordyn, Jarrett, and Jackson.
He has a strong desire to reach the next generation with the gospel and to help build strong Christians and strong families. Josh desires to lead a ministry that will help people love God supremely, grow together in faith community, and serve others humbly. Besides his love for the local church, Josh also enjoys spending time with his family, cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers, playing golf, drinking coffee, and reading.
