Ernie Bowman is a former Associate Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, IA) and Maranatha Baptist Seminary (Watertown, WI). In addition to preaching, he blogs regularly at www.thefoolish1.com where he writes about life, sports, reading, and the twists of living for Jesus in a fallen world. Ernie has published multiple books including 'Legend of the Wapa' a jungle missions novel from Cruciform Press and 'A Surgeon's Hands - God's Work' which tells the life story and medical missions career of Dr. Bob Cropsey. Ernie is also a culinary arts graduate of Oakland Community College (Farmington, MI) and worked as a chef prior to going into vocational ministry. He and his wife Natalie are both native Michiganders and together they are raising three children.
