Dr. Shane Belding is the senior pastor at Berean Baptist Church. Pastor Belding was raised in a small fishing village in New Brunswick, Canada. He received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and surrendered his life to the Lord’s leading as a teenager. He then prepared for service by earning three degrees in biblical studies. He has a BA in Bible and Pastoral Studies, a Master of Divinity in Theology and a Doctorate of Ministries. He believes that the power to change comes from the accurate presentation of the Word and acceptance of that Word, therefore he is committed to expository and exegetical preaching. He and his wife, Paula, have three daughters - Heather, Shannon and Christiana. Pastor Belding’s life verse is “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thy own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5,6
