Nathaniel trained for ministry at Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana gaining a Master of Divinity in May 2019. He completed his ministry training through an internship at the Reformed Church of the North Shore under Pastor Daniel Wilson in 2020. January 2021 marked the beginning of his ministry here at the Reformed Church of Whanganui. Nathaniel is married to Sharon and they have been blessed with seven children.
