Phil Emory

Phil Emory graduated from Bob Jones University in 2005 with a B.M. in church music. After his graduation, Phil traveled with the Pettit Evangelistic Team for 3 years, gaining experience in music, teen and children ministries, and technology. Working under Steve Pettit provided opportunities to see God at work in numerous churches across the country and around the world. Phil also worked at Northland Camp during those three summers as the director of technology.

Following Phil’s ministry with the Pettit team, God lead him to study at the University of South Carolina. While at USC, Phil completed a Masters in Conducting and a Viola Performance Degree. During his two years of graduate study, Phil also served as the music director at Westside Baptist Church in Augusta, GA under Dr. Robert Lehn.

Phil met his wife, Dani, at USC where they were fellow music students. After graduate school, they both moved to Greenville, SC and worked as music educators. Phil and Dani were married in June of 2012 and moved to Brookside the following fall, where Phil joined the ministry as director of music and technology.
