Pastor Robert began serving as pastor of First Baptist Church of Shady Spring in December, 2020. He previously served as associate pastor of Greenville Christian Fellowship in Greenville, SC, where he earned his Master of Divinity from Bob Jones Seminary. Prior to full-time ministry, Robert worked in journalism and public relations. He and Jamie have been married since 2010. Robert loves to preach, teach and counsel from God’s Word with the goal of magnifying the Lord Jesus Christ in messages from both the Old and New Testaments. He also loves to spend time with God’s people, and is eager to fellowship with you at the next service. Outside of church ministries, he enjoys reading, hiking, cheering for the Washington Capitals, and making his family laugh.
