Philip B. Strong

Pastor Strong is a sinner saved by grace, a “beggar telling other beggars where to find bread”! He is grateful to have been raised in a Christian home, and came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at the age of fourteen while attending a church Summer camp. It was at that time he felt compelled to get the Gospel out to others.
While pursuing training for the ministry, he had his eyes opened to the sovereignty of God over all things, in particular the salvation of the sinner. It was a moment that would forever change his life and thinking and would eventually lead to his going to two different reformed seminaries to earn a Masters of Divinity. Those schools being; Westminster Theological Seminary in San Diego, California, and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He has been serving in the Lord’s church since 1995 in a pastoral capacity, having served congregations in Mississippi, Indiana, Florida and presently in Wyoming.
He has been married since 1988 to his wife Andrea. They have been blessed with five children, two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, a grandson, and two more grandchildren in the autumn.
He enjoys talking about the Lord and His truth, he loves music, and finds refreshment in yard work and little projects around his home on his day off.
