Pastor Keith Burd was born in North Dakota in 1947 and spent his summers working on a farm raising sheep, etc. Prior to reaching his 18th birthday in 1965 he joined the USMC and volunteered for Vietnam. After 22 months in the rice paddies and jungles, he returned to the states and finished the remainder of his four year hitch at the NSA in Maryland where he eventually met his wife.

The Lord touched their hearts in 1975 and called them to plant a church in 1984. They spent the next 33+ years with this work until health issues made retirement an obvious choice. Today they enjoy spending time with their daughter and three grand daughters, and are active members of a recently planted work, Mission Bible Church.
