Pastor Paul Hudson began his ministry at Bethel Baptist Church in Fergus, Ontario in June 2009, after a 27 year career as an Air Navigator in the Canadian Forces. The Lord had begun to move in his life much earlier, leading him to begin part-time studies at Toronto Baptist Seminary in 2000, to continue at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Virginia Beach from 2003-2004, and upon his retirement from the military in 2006, to The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, where he completed a Master of Divinity degree in May 2009.

Pastor Paul and his wife Karen have three grown children and two American daughters-in-law, all of whom they are tremendously thankful for. His focus is on expository preaching and teaching, relying upon the leading of the Holy Spirit for every word, and seeking to be a blessing, encouragement, and challenge to children of God to worship Him in every aspect of their lives, to love one another as our Saviour has loved us, and to be faithful and effective witnesses and messengers of the Good News of Jesus Christ.
