Lance was pastor-teacher of The Bible Church of Little Rock in Little Rock, Arkansas, for 15 years, where he co-authored "The Five Points of Calvinism: Defined, Defended, and Documented (Revised Edition)" with Curtis Thomas and Daniel Steele. He is a member of the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals (F.I.R.E.) and since 2011 has been leading Grace Advance, which seeks to provide pastoral leadership for developing churches in conjunction with The Master's Seminary. He now pastors Joint Heirs fellowship as a part of Grace Community Church, where he had previously served more than 10 years as John MacArthur's assistant and later executive pastor. Lance and his wife, Beth, have eight children.
