Jim Forbes was born in Chicago, Illinois into a Roman Catholic family in 1927. He served his country in the Army Air Corp in July of 1945 serving two years in the occupation of Germany. After his military service, he played seven years of professional baseball also graduating from Stetson University in June of 1954. Jim came to know Christ as his personal savior on February 26, 1986. He is presently attending Central Florida Bible Church with his wife Nancy, where he is serving the Lord as Treasurer, and also as a member of the Interim Council.
