Pastor F. William Darrow was born and raised in Iowa. When he was a sophomore in high school God called him to full time Christian service. Therefore, upon graduation from high school, he enrolled in the Omaha Baptist Bible College in Omaha, Nebraska (now the Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa) where he graduated four years later with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology. For the next nine years he pastored the Gospel Mission Baptist Church in Knapp, Wisconsin. He has been pastor of the East Side Baptist Church in Milwaukee the last thirty years. He is happily married, has four married daughters and fourteen grandchildren. Two sons-in-law are also independent Baptist pastors.
