Stephen grew up in a Christian home where a godly father and mother raised him in love. His dad was a deacon and youth leader at the church they attended for many years. He was later elected as an elder of that church. Stephen was converted at the age of 16. Guitar is a hobby of Stephen's and he began to lead the singing in the youth group meetings. In 2005, he moved away from his home to go to college and he became a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Verona, VA. Stephen has been leading the singing and music at EBC since 2008.
