Pastor Pendarvis is the current Pastor of First Baptist Church, Algiers, the fourth since the founder, L. R. Shelton, Sr., passed away in 1971. The Lord has led him to continue this "awakening" ministry, as his life is dedicated to the salvation of the souls of men. His weekly sermons and "Old Trailblazer" messages are aired over many radio stations and he is overseer of Radio Missions, "The Old Puritan Press," God's Storehouse for the Needy, and Radio Bible and Book Room.
