The Rev Dr Nick Needham is a Baptist minister originally from London. He holds the degrees of BD and PhD from the University of Edinburgh. He has published several books, the first two of which were in the area of Scottish Church History. More recently he has published 2,000 Years of Christ's Power: Part One, The Age of the Early Church Fathers. This is the first of a projected series of four volumes covering the history of the Christian Church. Dr Needham has taught in Scotland and also in Africa. He was also the first librarian of Rutherford House in Edinburgh. Dr Needham is lecturer in church history at the Highland Theological College, Dingwall, Scotland.
