Dr. Matzko is currently traveling with his wife Darlene as the Matzko Science Ambassadors (https://georgematzko.com/), an outreach ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. He retired from Bob Jones University after 44 years of service in 2023, teaching chemistry and physics in the classroom for 39 years and traveling as the BJU Science Ambassador for five years. From 1996-2017, he led BJU summer mission teams to Australia where he has spoken on a variety of Bible/science topics.
