Doug Edwards was converted at the age of 23, while working for the Tacoma Fire Department. He completed seminary studies in 1986, and then began to serve as associate Pastor of Enumclaw Baptist Church (Currently Sovereign Grace Baptist Church) in 1986. He has been the senior Pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church (Enumclaw, Wa) since 1990. He is committed to preaching through books of the Bible in an expository fashion. He has a great appreciation for Puritans such as John Owen, John Flavel, Richard Sibbes and others of that stamp. He seeks to bring glory to God through the faithful teaching and preaching of His Holy Word.
