Steven Maldoff came to recognize his need for Jesus Christ as a 12-year-old living in New York City. A few years later, Steven and his family moved to Cleveland, Ohio, and became involved in a large, missions-minded church. It was there that Steven felt the call of God to serve Him internationally. After studying at Pensacola Christian College, he prepared himself to move to Australia with the desire to start churches. Since 2003, Steven and his family - wife Christy; daughters Sarah, Emily, and Abigail - have lived in rural Australia in the town of Mildura. It is here that he has been able to establish the Murry River Baptist Church.
