Nice neat lives of comfort and control. Predictability. Minister to those who are easy, compliant, and who come with no drama. This proverb instructs us that the manger is clean where there are no oxen, but where there are no oxen there is also no revenue! The ministry is about advancing God's Kingdom, and to do so we will have to put up with mess. We do so because Christ first dealt with us!
