The Sorrow of God over Sinful Man

This is a very difficult passage of Scripture; however, God has lessons for us to learn from it! Who are the 'sons of God' and the 'daughters of men'? If God is longsuffering, what could possibly bring about judgment? Also consider that in the midst of judgment there can still be grace.
