Position And Ability

When we see a need we are not always able to do something about it. When we see a need and can do something about that need, we ought to. Mordecai was serving in the King's Gate by God's providence. He found out about the plot to kill the King and Mordecai, loving his neighbor, makes the plot known and the King's life was spared. Mordecai's love points us to One Who is greater, Jesus Christ, Who had both the position and the ability and came and gave His life that we may be saved.
