Elijah Fainting

After the Mount Carmel victory, Jezebel vows to slay Elijah. From this literal mountaintop experience, we subsequently see him flee Israel just when they needed him most. But in the despair, God gently identifies with his servant. We may thus glean much from his Running, his Wrestling and his Returning.
