Called to Serve Part 4

Theme: Jesus calls normal people to be His faithful servants. Through the life of Philip the "ok" administrator, we see another example of someone who brings people to Jesus, as Philip goes to find Nathaniel to tell him about Jesus. Philip has to learn to be visionary. Behind God's command is His power to fulfill it. We also learn that we need to apply the knowledge that the Lord has taught us, and act on His Word, not just hear it. In the life of Nathaniel, we learn the need of going deeper. Growing in grace means sacrifice and commitment. This is not a quick process but includes a willingness to deeply dive into God's Word.
