While Ruth highlights the fact that God reached out to an "outsider" and brought her in to become part of the line that leads to Jesus, more than that, the very love of God that He has and expresses toward the object of that love is brought out in this short book.

Ruth, an outsider, was brought in by the hand of God to become part of the line to the Messiah. Ruth expresses the line of Judah via Obed, Jesse, and King David.

Ruth is a book about relationships; a love story. Of the 84 verses in Ruth, 59 are dialogue. Ruth is a book about communication. It is a narrative about life.
