Jehovah shalom is one of the beautiful names of our Lord Jesus Christ. It literally means 'The LORD my peace'. Ephesians 2:14 tells us that Christ "is our peace." Those who have Him have peace with God. But let us never forget that the Saviour had to shed His blood that we might enjoy this peace. In Judges 6:24 we find -
- Peace in the face of adversity
- Peace as a result of atonement
- Peace from the lips of the Almighty
