Being Part of the Team

Philemon has been hit hard personally and socially by the runaway slave Onesimus. But Onesimus flees to Rome and is won to Jesus by the apostle Paul, a good friend of Philemon's. In the middle of the trauma this ordeal causes, we learn how to function as fellow soldiers and cooperative subjects of our King. We learn too that everyone has value and everything has meaning in our lives. In these verses, we meet the team on the ground and glean some insights on how to effectively bring honor to the Lord Jesus in the crucible.
