The People of the Glorious Land will be Captured
The People of the Glorious Land will be treated with Contempt.

As a child of God, know that no enemy formed against you can have ultimate victory over you. Rest in confidence at God’s sovereignty.
But do not use God’s love for you in Jesus Christ as an excuse to sin against him. Don’t argue this way: I am saved, so I can live however I want.
Even though the wicked nations seemed to have won, and stopped the sacrifices in the temple, yet there was no way the wicked could stop the true sacrifice of God’s Son on your behalf. In fact, the wicked themselves sacrificed Jesus for you.
Respond rightly: Rejoice. Worship the Lord. Sing his praises. Tell of his deeds.
