The Heart of the Servant

Paul asks Philemon to receive Onesimus, coming to him with a humble disposition and a holy preoccupation. This disarming approach not only makes a good case for his appeal, but also allows the one being recruited to feel predisposed to a cooperative outcome. Jesus would have us all cultivate these graces as we join arm in arm to further the cause of His kingdom.
