The Forcing of a Crisis

God stirs up a crisis in Israel in order to bring Saul into his ordained office. We see here the Harassment of an Enemy, the Help of the Lord and ultimately, the Honoring of His King. We are to rule and reign one day with the Lord Jesus. But if we are to be prepared for that lofty role, there will have to be a tempering of our faith in the crucibles of crisis. They will bring out the best in us and will help us recognize the Lord's work in fitting us for that new role.
