Cling to What Is Good; Flee from Evil

Just as the Minister must preach and teach the Gospel and its implications for life, as these are good and profitable for men, so too there are certain things that he must steer clear of; things that are unprofitable and worthless. What kinds of things would those be? Theological systems based upon nuance, foolish controversies (ie. hemlines and haircuts etc.), things fueled by fleshly strife and, disputes about the Law. The ministry caught up in such things as these will ultimately neglect the things that build up and bless! Brothers...Preach the Word!
