Christ, The Supreme Example of Humility

In this early Christian hymn, Paul shares the example of humility that we already have and are to have by the example of Christ. Believers are to have this mindset of humility. Though Christ existed in eternity past with the glory of the Father, He humbled Himself becoming a man. He did not need to hold on to the outward manifestation of His Glory. Rather, He became a man, humbled Himself unto death, even the death of the cross.
