Protect Your Pastor

In this expository sermon Dr. Felker shares how a congregation, and especially the leaders, should protect their pastor in several ways. First, they should protect their pastor's reputation from unsubstantiated and false accusations. They should protect him from temptation by encouraging protective guidelines and by following an accountability process. If there is a moral or doctrinal failure that is proven true and not too serious, they should provide a plan of restoration, but see to it that sufficient time is given for this process. Finally, they should protect the pastor from a bitter, unforgiving spirit.
