The Matter of the Heart

The unbridled heart can lead us to overt denials of God's way, outright defilement in our way or the objective deliverance in our day to day. In chapter 6, the disciples hearts were hardened through adversity, so here we visit the condition of the heart from various angles and learn how vital it is to place a guard lest we deceive ourselves into believing God does not see us as we really are. It is we, not He, that cannot see.
