Blind Bartimaeus Is Healed!

In this expository sermon Dr. Felker shares about a man who was physically blind but was spiritually perceptive. By faith the healing power of God opened his blind eyes! How did this happen? We must first recognize and acknowledge our needs. Then we should cry out to Jesus in prayer, doing so with faith, a plea for mercy, and persistence. This story shows that Jesus is concerned about our needs. He stopped to call for the blind man to express his petition. Then Jesus answered his prayer, proving that He is the Messiah and the Son of God. Finally, we should respond to answered prayer by faithfully following Jesus and giving glory to God.
