The LORD Is Patient Towards You

Mockers and their mocking characterize our age. They hold the Word of God in derision. Saying things like, "Where is the promise of His coming?". They tear down confidence in the Word of God and the things that God promises, commands and threatens. They hurt Christians who are undiscerning. Peter writes to counter their message and to encourage the child of God that a day IS coming when the wicked will be judged and the righteous saved just as God has said.
