Don't Turn Back to The Worthless Things!

The temptation to the Christian is to turn back to the worthless things for our confidence before the Lord. Those things being the "Do's and Don'ts" that we always hear about. Good things can become damnable things when we ultimately trust in those things to make us right before the Lord. The Apostle was concerned that perhaps these people in whom there appeared to be a genuine faith were abandoning the Lord to trust in their own labors.
