THE GLORY OF CHRIST'S RESURRECTION

A. Nothing is as devastating as death
B. Nothing is as reassuring as meeting the risen Lord Jesus

I. HIS RESURRECTION CONFIRMS ALL HE HAS SAID BEFORE

A. The Lord Jesus had predicted the details of His death & rising: Mark 8:31; 10:32-34
B. Jesus' resurrection therefore confirmed all He said or promised before as true
C. God's message to His children this morning is “Fear not but rejoice”

II. HIS RESURRECTION PROVED THAT ALL HINDRANCES TO SALVATION ARE REMOVED

A. The women struggled with the reality of “a stone before the door of the sepulcher”
B. Spiritually fallen mankind meets a variety of “great stones hindering salvation”
