Guilty of Love in the First Degree

This expository sermon examines the religious and civil trials of Jesus. Did they convict an innocent man to death? Mark gives evidence of injustice in both trials. Yet Jesus did not resist in order to fulfill His mission to die for our sins on the cross. In fact, He affirmed that He is the Messiah and Son of God, and He did not deny before Pontius Pilate that He was indeed a king. Many made wrong decisions that day regarding Jesus and the message concludes by calling upon the audience to make the right decision about Jesus.
