Marital Foundations Pt 1

In this first part of our study on "Marital Foundations", we go back to the "Original Design" set forth in Genesis 1-2. We see the synchronicity of all of creation in the garden, what God valued most in man and the order of His purposeful plan. Chapter 2 especially sets forth man's commission "to dress and to keep" the garden, the solitary commandment, "Thou shalt not eat" and the crescendo of man's completion with the presentation of the woman. The concluding reference to their being "naked and not ashamed" is then suggestive of a recurring issue that will be aggravated in the Fall as set forth in part 2.
